Breeding

Breeding is the long-term bloodline system. It lets trained parents pass part of their current strength and traits into bred eggs.

Eligibility

MaleFemaleAge 15+Affection 80+

Both parents must belong to the same owner and be available, not already locked in another exclusive state.

Cost

Breeding Cost = 200 + 10 * sum(parent current total stats)

Current total stats include born/base stats plus bonuses earned from EXP.

Inheritance

For each stat, the preview averages the parents' current total stat, divides by 4 for max bonus, then sets min bonus to one quarter of that max.

Cancellation warning

Breeding can be cancelled early, but coins are not refunded. Parents return from the room, but the paid fee is gone.

Incubation Lock

Parents stay in the Breeding Room for 1 game day. They do not lose hunger or affection and can be viewed, but they cannot be fed, patted, scolded, boosted, sent to battle, assigned to graze, or used in another breeding session.

Inheritance formulas and trait completion
Breeding Cost = 200 + 10 * sum(parent current total stats)
Average Current Stat = Ceiling((Father Current Stat + Mother Current Stat) / 2)
Maximum Bonus = Ceiling(Average Current Stat / 4)
Minimum Bonus = Floor(Maximum Bonus / 4)

Breeding uses the parents' current total stats, not only their born/base stats. That is what lets training and lifetime improvement affect future generations.

Each bred egg receives independent stat and trait rolls. If an egg already has 1 trait, hatching rolls only enough to reach exactly 2 unique traits. If it already has 2 traits, hatching skips additional trait rolls.
